The Romeo laser is used to strengthen the structure of the soft palate and uvula to improve the symptoms of snoring. This result is achieved through fractional laser therapy, which causes microscopic damage to the mucous membrane which tightens the soft palate so it is more stable during breathing.

The Romeo laser has been designed with the specific purpose to improve the symptoms of snoring through relaxation of the uvula and soft palate. The Romeo is completely non-invasive meaning treatment is fast and there is minimal downtime for patients. Over 50% of patients and their bed partners report a notable reduction in snoring post-treatment.

The sub-ablative fractional therapy that Romeo lasers provide means that effective treatment can be provided in just minutes. As treatment requires very little preparation and downtime, it can be provided in-clinic in just a number of minutes.
